2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has sent his “most sincere condolences to Yul and May Edochie over the death of their first son”.

Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie, lost his first son, 16-year old Kambilichukwu Edochie, after suffering seizure.
The former Anambra State Governor prayed “God to strengthen and comfort Kambilichukwu’s parents, his doting grandfather Pete Edochie and the entire Edochie family”.
Obi said: “I send my most sincere condolences to Yul and May Edochie, over the death of their beloved first son Kambilichukwu. Death of a loved one, is always a painful experience, moreso that of a son. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Edochie Family,
“as we ask God to strengthen and comfort Kambilichukwu’s parents, his doting grandfather Pete Edochie and the entire Edochie family. May God Almighty give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, and grant Kambilichukwu eternal rest in his kingdom.”
