English side, Manchester United, have crashed out of the Uefa Europa League after suffering a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Spanish side, Sevilla, at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Thursday 20 April, 2023.

With a beautiful 5-2 aggregate triumph, Sevilla have cruised into the semi finals of the tournament.

The first leg of the tie at the Old Trafford in England, ended 2-2, with United leading 2-0, before Sevilla wrestled back and clinched a comeback draw to share points.

Defender Harry Maguire’s error in the early period of the encounter presented Youssef En-Nesyri with Sevilla’s seventh-minute opener, set the tone for the tasteless performance.

Two minutes into the second half, Loic Balde made it two, and En-Nesyri sealed victory for Sevilla with his second goal of the encounter, making it three goals to nothing in favour of the hosts.
