11-year old Mississippi boy shot by Police after calling for help

A boy, eleven (11) years old, who was shot by an officer after calling Police for help has been released from hospital, his family reveals.

Mississippi Police arrived at Aderrien Murray’s home on Saturday responding to a domestic disturbance placed by the 11-year old, then shot him in the chest, as disclosed by his mother.

After being shot, she said, the boy asked her “what did I do?”

Investigation into the shooting has commenced and the officer involved has been placed on leave.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is carrying out a probe into the incident.
