The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has come out to plead with Nigerians to join forces and fight a “monster called corruption” which has prevented Nigeria from making positive progress.

According to the EFCC: “Let us come together to fight this monster called corruption, so we can bequeath a befitting Nigeria to our future generation.”
It added: “Corruption threatens our existence. It is trying to destroy our essence but if we put aside our difference (s), the Eagle is giving us assurance that we can eradicate this menace.”
HC: All hands on deck to fight corruption in Nigeria. It is truly a “monster threatening our existence”.
