He said the late banker was “an extraordinary being”, adding, he had no intention “to reopen a healing wound”.
Governor Uzodimma said: “I do not intend to reopen a healing wound but the pain Nigerians felt over the tragic death of my friend and brother, Herbert Wigwe, the wife and son, is so deep and while in Lagos, my wife @Chioma_Uzodimma and I spent time with the family offering consolation and words of encouragement.
“Herbert was an extraordinary being and we will continue to miss him however, we take solace in the great impacts he left while on earth. May the soul of Herbert, Chizoba, Chizi and the souls of the faithful departed, continue to rest in the bossom of the Lord.”
