Attack On Trump: Updated FBI statement on the ongoing incident that took place in Pennsylvania

The FBI has assumed the role of the lead federal law enforcement agency in the investigation of the incident involving former US President, Donald Trump, at his campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

Trump was attacked at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, however, he only suffered a wound in his ear as he was immediately covered and moved away from the area by his security agents.

World Leaders have reacted to the attack on Mr. Trump, including the US President, Joe Biden, French President, Emmanuel Macron among others.

President Biden said: “There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.”
