‘Happy 64th Independence Anniversary Nigeria’ |
“It has been a path filled with challenges, victories, and many lessons learned. The obstacles we face are daunting but today, I want to remind us of the strength, resilience, and creativity that characterize Lagos and its people.
We are a community of over 20 million dreams, rich in culture, talent, and ambition. We are Nigeria’s brightest potential and its most dynamic spirit. That is why, despite the hurdles we encounter, I believe with unwavering faith that together, we can cultivate a Lagos and a Nigeria that realizes the aspirations of every citizen.
Today, I urge you to hold onto hope. Yes, our journey has been tough; the road ahead may seem uncertain. But we have a choice – the choice to embrace our power to drive change. I choose to have faith in you, the incredible people of Lagos and I want you to believe in yourselves, too.
Let us unite in purpose and believe that our brightest days are still ahead. Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!
Together, we can and will succeed!”
