Nigeria’s National Public Health Institute saddled with the mission to ‘lead the preparedness, detection and response to infectious disease outbreaks and public health emergencies’ said, “limited access to clean water, open defecation, & poor hygiene practices in affected communities has worsened the ongoing Cholera outbreak” in the country.
