Social Media platforms, Facebook and Instagram, owned by Meta, appeared to experience some outages on Sunday, with users complaining about issues with the app and website.
According to Downdetector, an online service that provides users with real-time information about the status of various websites and services, there were more than 4,500 reports filed by users of Facebook in the United States (US), with 63% of the users being challenged with issues of gaining access to the website.
Another over 2,500 reports were filed by users of Instagram in the US. They lamented over issues with the app on Sunday.
