In support of FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, ‘Dai Dai’ will be the Official song for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, the World Football Governing Body aims to raise “USD100 million” by the end of the tournament, FIFA said.
The excitement continues to heighten for the FIFA World Cup 2026 with the release of ‘Dai Dai’, featuring Shakira and Burna Boy.
FIFA said, “the track captures the energy, passion and global spirit that will define the greatest show on earth.”
Colombian singer, Shakira, is working closely with Global Citizen and FIFA “to provide access to education for children in underserved communities with Shakira’s royalties from ‘Dai Dai’ being donated to the Education Fund, and Sony Music will match the first USD 250,000 raised with a donation”, FIFA made known.
The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer will also co-headline the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final halftime show on Sunday 19 July, 2026. It will mark the first time the FIFA World Cup will feature a halftime show.
The show will pull together artists from around the world for one moment at the convergence of sport, culture, and purpose, to support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
After the release of ‘Lighter’, ‘Por Ella’, ‘Echo’ and‘Illuminate’, the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album will continue to unveil as time progresses, with more singles set to be released as the wait for the tournament continues to strengthen.
FIFA said, bringing artists from different continents, genres and cultures, the growing soundtrack shows the “global spirit and diversity” of the FIFA World Cup 2026, pulling together fans through football and music.
