Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Executive Governor of Lagos State, has received a new set of 24-car trains.
The Governor said, the new car trains will help “strengthen” the Lagos Red Line fleet.
Sanwo-Olu also said, the development will enhance capacity, ensure “wait times” are lowered , and commuting made easier for the people of Lagos State.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said: “This will improve capacity, reduce wait times and make daily commuting easier for Lagosians.”
He said, the “goal” is to build a system of transport that is “efficient and reliable” for all.
The Governor said: “We remain focused on building a transport system that is efficient and reliable for everyone. That is still our goal.”
