Rt. Hon. Isa Ashiru, former Member Representing Makarfi/Kudan Federal Constituency, has announced on Sunday 5 April, 2026, he has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at his ward in Kudan Local Government Area.
Ashiru made it clear, he did not join the Coalition Party “just to switch party”, but, for “good governance” , as well as, making the welfare of Nigerians top priority.
He said, the “journey” to 2027 Elections has started as he called for “togetherness” to build a “better” Kaduna and a “greater” Nigeria.
Ashiru posted: “Today, I officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at my ward in Kudan Local Government Area!
“This is not just a party switch — it is a commitment to real change, good governance, and putting the people first. Together, we will build a better Kaduna and a greater Nigeria.The journey to 2027 begins now!”
He said on X, the “enemies” of ADC will “tremble” and the Coalition “will not be stopped”.
Ashiru posted: “Let the heavens hear us. Let the enemies of ADC tremble. Let the future know we are coming, and we will not be stopped!
“Nigeria must win! Kaduna must rise! God is with us!
“It is POssible.”
In his message on Easter, he said, the season reminds us that “victory” comes after “hardship”; and called for “unity” to build a “just society” where the progress of Nigerians is “guaranteed”.
Ashiru wrote: “This season is a reminder that after hardship comes victory.Let us remain united, prayerful, and committed to building a just society where peace, progress, and opportunity are guaranteed for all. Happy Easter”
