We ‘know who those officials are’ – US reacts to ‘sl*ugter of Christians’ in Nigeria on Palm Sunday

The United States (US) has reacted to the recent “slaughter of Christians” in Nigeria by “jihadists” on Palm Sunday.

The US through Senator Ted Cruz said, the officials of the Nigerian government have made available an “environment” which allows Christians to be “routinely persecuted and slaughtered” by imposing Sharia Law.

The US Senator said, America knows who those officials are, and has in its possession the “tools to hold them accountable”.

Fox News reports:

At least 20 people are dead after an overnight attack in Nigeria’s north-central region on Palm Sunday.
The attack happened in the Gari Ya Waye community in the Jos North area of Plateau state, according to Joyce Lohya Ramnap, the state commissioner for information.
It remains unclear how many people were wounded or killed, and who was behind the massacre.

Senator Ted Cruz posted: “Another slaughter of Christians in Nigeria by jihadists, this time on Palm Sunday.

“Nigerian government officials have created an environment in which Christians are routinely persecuted and slaughtered, by imposing sharia law and looking the other way at violence.

“Those officials should know that the U.S. knows who they are, and has the tools to hold them accountable.”
