ADC calls for immediate suspension of Tinubu’s administration tax laws

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called for the immediate suspension of the tax laws of the Tinubu administration.

The new tax laws are scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2026.

The ADC through its National Spox, Bolaji Abdullahi, said, recent findings have revealed “that the final version of the law contains substantial forged provisions”.

Taking to X, Bolaji posted: “The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called for the immediate suspension of the Tinubu administration’s draconian tax laws, scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2026.

“This follows recent findings that the final version of the law contains substantial forged provisions that were not part of the original bill passed by the National Assembly.”
