First Lady Oluremi Tinubu donates ₦500m, relief items to flood-affected communities in Yola

Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has expressed gratitude to the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, following her “generous” donation of ₦500 million and relief materials to communities affected by flood in Yola.

The unfortunate disaster claimed lives and left several others injured.

The Governor also received a donation of ₦100 million from the government of Bayelsa State through Governor Duoye Diri.

In his appreciation to the First Lady on X, Governor Fintiri said: “On behalf of the good people of Adamawa State, I extend our profound gratitude to Her Excellency, @SenRemiTinubu, for the generous donation of ₦500 million and vital relief materials to support our flood-affected communities.

“Your compassion brings hope. We are deeply thankful.”
