1. Over the last five years, about 7,000 cars and 4 CNG stations have been converted to CNG in Benin, Nigeria, in partnership by NIPCO Gas, and this Auto CNG pilot project has been highly successful.
2. Converting your car to CNG makes your car a hybrid vehicle, which means you can thereafter switch from CNG to Petrol or vice versa at the touch of a button.
3. Countries like India, Ghana, Iran have successfully used CNG for autogas, dating back to the early 2000’s
4. Approved monocoque CNG cylinders at authorised conversion centres are built to withstand high pressure, and temperature and last up to 15 years before they are due for replacement or removal.
