Nigeria captain, Rahseedat Ajibade, on behalf of the Super Falcons, has come out to express thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu; the Governors’ Forum; for the “warm” reception of the team after emerging Champions of Women’s Football in Africa for the 10th time.
Ajibade, who fields for Spanish club, Atletico Madrid Women, clinched the award for the Player Of The Tournament following her beautiful heroics for the most decorated Women’s Football team on the continent at the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations (WAFCON) which just concluded in Morocco.
She said, the Super Falcons’ triumph on Saturday 26 July, 2025 in Rabat is a “victory for all Nigerians”.
