Kemi Badenoch’s reaction after PM Starmer left his Chancellor ‘humiliated’

Leader of the Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, has reacted to Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), Keir Starmer’s attitude towards his Chancellor, which left her “humiliated”.

Badenoch, head of the opposition, said, “how can anyone be a chancellor for a man who doesn’t know what he believes.”

She said, UK Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, is the “human shield” for PM Starmer’s “expensive u-turns”.

Kemj Badenoch said on X: “Today the Prime Minister refused to back his Chancellor, leaving her humiliated.

“She is the human shield for his expensive u-turns.

“How can anyone be a chancellor for a man who doesn’t know what he believes and who changes his mind every other minute.”

At the PMQs, Badenoch believes the UK PM has “no plan” and “no strategy” on how to move the country forward, saying, the “truth” the Conservative Party believes in is that the UK “should live within its means”.

She said on X: “The Conservative Party believes the country should live within its means. This truth cannot be avoided.

“Keir Starmer doesn’t know what he believes, so it is mistake after mistake, u-turn after u-turn. With no plan to get people into work, no plan to cut spending…no strategy.”

In her reaction to a headline by Daily Mail on “illegal immigrants”, Badenoch said, they “all must be deported”.

The headline says, “‘Smashing the gangs’ latest – A year after Starmer became PM – and scraped Rwanda – 879 migrants crossed the Channel on Monday, with the six-month total this year at a record high. No one knows who they are or where they’re from. But all will have to be fed, housed and given free health care – and most will never leave.”

Kemi Badenoch reacted on X: “Is it any surprise we’re seeing record numbers of illegal immigrants when Starmer’s virtue-signalling Labour Party have removed nearly all the deterrents?

“All illegal immigrants must be deported.

“It’s time to back the makers not the takers.”
