According to the Club’s official website, the forward said: “Everyone knows this is a big club with a great history

“They had brilliant players in the past and have brilliant players now. So I am excited to join and you know when you are a Chelsea player you must think one thing — win.”

Joao Pedro, a product of Brazilian giants, Fluminense, first emerged as a teenager with talent and passion for goal. He scored ten (10) times in thirty-six (36) matchess for the Rio club before making the move to English football.

He continued his journey at Watford, where he performed well across four (4) seasons with 109 appearances, 24 goals, wearing the captain’s armband occasionally during the 2022/23 campaign — all before turning 22 years.

Joao Pedro signed for Brighton in 2023 and made a quick impact. He found the back of the net on his debut and went ahead to deliver a beautiful season with 19 goals in all competitions, finishing as the Seagulls’ joint-top scorer.
