Kane has been in superb form since inception of the 2024/25 season; the Englishman netted a hat-trick in Bayern’s last game on Friday against Augsburg.
Bayern cruised past Augsburg 3-0 in the Bundesliga 2024/25 match at Allianz Arena on Friday 22 November, 2024, thanks to Kane’s triple in the 63rd (pen), 90+3′ (pen) and 90+5′.
Following his stunning hat-trick, Kane emerged the quickest player in Bundesliga to score fifty (50) goals; the former Tottenham Hotspur player achieved the feat after forty-three (43) appearances for Bayern.
On Tuesday 26 November, 2024, Bayern Munich will face PSG in the Uefa Champions League 2024/25 League Phase match at Allianz Arena at 21:00 (WAT).
At his press conference ahead of the European encounter, Kane said:
On PSG…
“It will be a difficult match. They try to dominate the game with possession, but we are trying to do that too. We want to make it as difficult as possible for the opposition. We have managed that well this season.”
On teammates in attack…
“Without the players around me, all of the goals I score would not be possible. They create space. We have a lot of competition for different positions, a lot of quality and a high tempo. Sometimes I also drop deeper to give my teammates more space. We get on very well.”
On the Champions League table…
“We know we have to win all of our remaining games to get into the top 8. PSG has to do that too. This is a home game for us, which is an advantage. It’s the start of an important period and we want to kick on with a strong performance.”
On his form…
“It has been a long time since I felt as good as I do now. As an experienced player, you learn a lot about different phases in a game. Since I’ve been at FC Bayern, my numbers have gone up. I hope that this continues and that we can keep raising our standards.”
