On his appraisal of Dr. Adesina, Atiku wrote: “It is deeply heartening that he steps into this esteemed role following the remarkable tenure of Nigeria’s own Dr. @akin_adesina. “Nigeria, Africa, and indeed the global community stand proud of Dr. Adesina’s sterling service. The zeal and unwavering commitment with which he championed development across the continent have left a legacy written not just in numbers but in the uplifted lives of millions.

“Dr. Adesina did more than reform institutions, he humanized progress. Through bold initiatives and purposeful reforms, he brought hope to communities and gave wings to aspirations across the continent.
