It’s Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s first victory in his first game as Leicester City manager.
On Tuesday 3 December, 2024, Nistelrooy guided Leicester City to a 3-1 win over West Ham United in the Premier League 2024/25 match at King Power Stadium.
The Dutchman was appointed on Friday to take over from Steve Cooper, who was relieved of his managerial duties after just 12 Premier League matches in charge of Leicester.
Jamie Vardy opened scoring for the Foxes very early, in the 2nd minute, Bilal El Khannouss added the second in the 61st minute and Patson Daka struck in the 90th minute to seal victory.
The Hammers netted their consolation in the 3rd minute of additional time through Niclas Füllkrug.
On the other side, Crystal Palace emerged victorious over Ipswich Town by a lone goal at Portman Road.
