Bayern Munich Women have been crowned Frauen-Bundesliga 2024/25 Champions after a 3-1 triumph over SC Freiburg on Sunday 27 April, 2025.

Herbert Hainer

“We’re incredibly proud of this special title for our FC Bayern Women. Three times in a row: only our men have previously achieved this, and it’s the next milestone and the next statement in a magnificent development. On Thursday we have the chance of the double in the cup final – we’re witnessing another Bayern team here who are making their own history!”

Jan-Christian Dreesen

“The third league title in a row underlines the consistent progress of our women’s team – and their increased stability over the years. Big credit goes to our director Bianca Rech because these successes are the results of meticulous work and long-term planning. Congratulations to all the players as well as the entire team behind the team – and not least thanks to Alexander Straus. The goal is now to send him off with a historic double.”

Max Eberl

“Being German champions three times in a row doesn’t just mean being more successful than the competition, it also means developing renewed hunger for wins season after season. That’s what defines great teams. This repeated title defence shows that FC Bayern not only has the highest ambitions in men’s football – now we want to do everything to ensure that there’ll be a joint title celebration on the Town Hall balcony on 18 May.”
