The Spaniard’s statement is coming following the club’s extremely low performance recently, with the latest being a 2-0 loss to toppers, Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola’s Cityzens are heading into the match with no win after seven (7) encounters in all competitions.
At his press conference, Guardiola said:
On John Stones injury update…
“He’s not close, no. Still, he is injured – he has an injury to his feet. I don’t know [when he will be back] but, I would say, not next week.”
On Kevin De Bruyne update…
“He is closer [to full fitness] and [has been] even better in the last few days.”
On Keeping perspective…
“[By] thinking about the next one. [When we] win a lot of games we think of the next one and we try the same to clear our heads. Selection [depends] on how we have to play. We don’t feel sorry for ourselves, it is what it is. We have to accept it.”
