The visitors made sure to cement their victory in the first 45 minutes as they netted all three (3) goals before the halftime whistle.
After a check by Video Assistant Referee (VAR), the Los Blancos were awarded a penalty, and France forward Kylian Mbappe, stepped forward and found the back of the net to open the scoring.
Not long after the Frenchman’s opener, in the 21st minute, Arda Güler assisted Jude Bellingham, who netted to make it 2-0 for Real Madrid.
It was the first goal for the England player since September and his 50th for the Club.
And, in the 36th minute, Ivorian winger, Yan Diomande, scored the third for Madrid as the visitors ended the contest with a cleansheet. It was Diomande’s third goal in four (4) games.
