‘Subdued Bitterness’ – Keyamo’s opinion after watching Atiku and Obi

Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has made his “irrefutable conclusion” on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, after both Presidential candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) respectively, made their opinions on the speech made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Independence Day.

The Minister said on X, both candidates “scrambled” to create their own ”broadcasts” after Tinubu’s speech on the Day Nigeria turned sixty-six (66), Thursday 1 October, 2026.

In his conclusion, Keyamo said, President Tinubu is far from being the problem of Atiku and Obi; he said, the problem between them is a “huge ego battle”.

He added, there is a “subdued bitterness” that exists between both of them and their supporters.

Keyamo said, since both were unable to dump their differences and work together, the former Vice President and former Governor of Anambra State are fighting to show who the “REAL OPPOSITION” is to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He also said, they are fighting for who will clinch the “2ND SPOT” in the Presidential Election, which will take place on January 16, 2027.

Keyamo posted: “After watching both Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, presidential candidates of the ADC and NDC respectively, scramble to make their own ‘broadcasts’ yesterday after the President’s speech, I came to one irrefutable conclusion:

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not the problem of these gentlemen. There is a huge ego battle between Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi; there is also a subdued bitterness between them and their supporters; since they could not work together despite all entreaties,

“both men think they have a point to prove to each other and all their present battles is to prove who the REAL OPPOSITION is to the ruling Party and who is entitled to claim the 2nd SPOT come January 16, 2027.”
