La Liga 2025/26 Champions, FC Barcelona, have officially submitted to the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the bid and full dossier to apply to host the final of the Uefa Champions League 2029.
Barcelona, alongside Barcelona City Council, the Government of Catalonia, and with the support of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), as host and co-organising association, have officially submitted to Uefa the bid and complete dossier to bring the final of the Uefa Champions League 2029 to Catalonia.
The documents submitted to the European Football Governing Body encompasses all the technical, contractual and institutional requirements demanded by UEFA, and, the essential guarantees to show the organisational capacity of Camp Nou, Barcelona home ground, and the city of Barcelona to host the final of one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
Following the submission of the dossier, the official process of bidding is done. From this point onwards, Uefa will commence evaluation phase of the various proposals submitted to decide which venue will be selected to host the Uefa Champions League 2029 final.
Historically, Camp Nou has been seen by Uefa as a top-level Stadium. The edifice is the largest in Europe by capacity.
