On the event, the Defence Minister from 2003 to 2007, said on X: it “brought together party members from across the country in a powerful display of unity and a shared commitment to deepening democracy in Nigeria.”
Kwankwaso hailed Senator Seriake Dickson, National Leader of the NDC, for the Convention which was delivered in a “well-organised and impactful” manner.
Also, he expressed his “sincere” gratitude to former Governor of Anambra State and “brother”, Peter Obi, who also participated in the event; as well as, commended the Obidient Movement “for adding colour and enthusiasm” to the Convention.
