The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced, an extension of deadlines for the sale and submission of aspirants’ forms, as well as, adjustment to screening dates for the 2027 General Elections.
According to a Press Release by the ‘Broom’ Party, the deadline for sale of forms was extended to Wednesday 6 May, 2026 (midnight).
The Press Release signed by Felix Morqa, National Publicity Secretary, All Progressives Congress ((APC), on Monday 4 May, 2026, reads: “The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved a further extension of the timelines for the sale and submission of completed aspirants’ Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, as well as the screening process for the 2027 General Elections.
“Key Extensions:
• Sale of Forms: Extended to midnight, Wednesday, 6th May 2026
• Submission of Forms: Extended to midnight, Thursday, 7th May 2026
• Screening of Aspirants: Friday, 8th May 2026 – Tuesday, 12th May 2026
• Publication of Screened Aspirants: Wednesday, 13th May 2026″
