Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President/Chief Executive, Dangote Industries Limited, has commissioned the ACE-Fuels ELECTROLAB-X at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), in Owerri, Imo State.
The Commissioning of the facility was conducted on Saturday 25 April, 2026.
The facility is an Electrochemical Laboratory that will be used “for Accelerated Breakthroughs and exponential Energy Technologies”, the Company said on X.

Following his dialogue with the University Community in FUTO, Prof. Nnenna Oti, Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), presented the businessman a “symbol of FUTO macho man”.
