Martin Odegaard was brought on to replace former Crystal Palace player, Eberechi Eze, who played below expectation for the visitors, and the Norwegian midfielder ensure to bring the difference that Arsenal needed; and eventually, Arteta’s side went in front through Noni Madueke in the 61st minute.

Madueke headed Piero Hincapie’s stunning cross into the far corner; however, after falling behind on home soil, the Bees were not discouraged but got infuriated, and Keane Lewis-Potter’s header from a corner which should have equalized for the hosts went wide.

And when Viktor Gyökeres should have made it two for Arsenal, Italian defender, Michael Olabode Kayode’s beautiful tackle made sure the Swedish striker did not find the back of the net.

In the 71st minute, Brentford levelled through Lewis-Potter after Sepp van den Berg had provided, and the Bees went close to netting the second; defender, Gabriel, avoided a second yellow card after fouling on Dango Outtarra. The resulting free-kick was tipped over by goalie, Raya.
