Mikel Arteta’s beautiful Champions League Stat – 27 goals scored, 0 conceded

Premier League side, Arsenal, have amassed some jaw-dropping stats under Spanish head coach, Mikel Arteta, scoring a whopping twenty-seven (27) goals and conceding zero (0).

Tuesday night was so amazing for the Gunners as they made light work of Spanish side, Atletico Madrid, in the Uefa Champions League 2025/26 League Phase clash at Emirates Stadium, winning 4-0.

According to arsenal.com:

“Since our return to Europe’s premier tournament in 2023/24, we have won all nine such fixtures in N5, scoring 27 times and keeping a clean sheet every time. You have to go back to November 2016 for the last time the opposition netted against us at this stage.

“We are on a 14-match unbeaten run on our own patch in the pre-knockout stage of the Champions League, which has now crept past the 10-year mark. The last team to take three points from a group stage game at Emirates Stadium was Olympiacos back in September 2015 when they were 3-2 victors.

“Our nine-straight home clean sheets in the group/league phase is unmatched in Champions League history, as we have now surpassed Jose Mourinho’s fabled Chelsea side who achieved eight in succession during the 2000s.”
