“I pay a vibrant tribute to our elders who courageously fought, often at the cost of the ultimate sacrifice, for true independence and for the emancipation of our country. Their sacrifice and determination still inspire us today in our commitment to a free and dignified Burkina Faso.
“We must look to the future with ambition, confidence, and determination. We must continue to build a prosperous, just, and united country that will ensure the full fulfillment of every citizen.
“I am convinced that, through our hard work, our sense of duty, and our collective will to succeed, we will be able to overcome the challenges before us and build a better future for generations to come.
“Happy independence celebration!”
