The Edo State Police Command made known, it conducted “rigorous bush-combing” operation which resulted to the rescue of three (3) victims of kidnap along Benin-Lagos expressway.
The Police further made known, another six (6) victims of bus kidnap along Benin-Akure road were rescued.
It said, rescue operations are ongoing to ensure safe release of the victims remaining, as well as, arrest of the kidnappers.
The Edo State Police Command posted on X: “The Command has initiated intensive and rigorous bush-combing operations which have led to the rescue of 3 victims from the kidnap along Benin-Lagos expressway while 6 victims of the bus kidnap along Benin-Akure road were equally rescued.Rescue operations are ongoing to ensure the safe release of the remaining victims and the arrest of the kidnappers.”
