Rauf Aregbesola National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has said, the Coalition Party will “arise and shine!”.
This is coming after the former Osun State Governor welcomed members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP) and others into the ADC in Lagos State.
Aregbesola said, the move is about unity and the “bold movement” to rescue Nigeria’s democracy.
He added, Nigerians are challenged with “hardship and despair”, and the ADC must awaken beyond “partisanship” and “rebuild” Nigeria with “transparency and inclusion for youth and women”.
Via X, Aregbesola made known: “I am excited to welcome members of the PDP, LP and others into the ADC in Lagos.
“This is not about what divides us, but what unites us, a bold movement to rescue Nigeria’s democracy.
“At a time when our people face hardship and despair, we must rise above partisanship and rebuild our nation with transparency, internal democracy, and inclusion for youth and women.
“Today marks a new beginning, proof that when good people unite, the best will surely come out of it.
“ADC!
“Arise and Shine!”
