Newcastle United has announced, English striker, Callum Wilson, will part ways with the club.
After five (5) season with the Magpies, the England international bids goodbye to St. James’ Park.
Newcastle United announced via X: “Callum Wilson has confirmed he will depart Newcastle United after five seasons at the club.
“From scoring on his debut against West Ham in 2020 to wearing the iconic number 9 shirt, Callum has played a huge part in our success in recent years and we thank him for all his contributions.
“Good luck for the future, CW9!”
The 33-year old was part of the Eddie Howe’s team that clinched the EFL Cup 2024/25.
At the Wembley Stadium, Newcastle United discomfited Liverpool 2-1 in the EFL Cup 2024/25 final.
