Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur, have announced that Dante Cassanova has put pen to paper for a new contract with the Club, which will make him stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until 2027.
Cassanova is a product of Spurs’ Academy system; the 20-year-old defender has been a constant player for Tottenham’s Under-21s over recent seasons.
Dante was an important member of Tottenham’s Premier League 2 title-winning team at that level in 2023/24 and captained the team on different occasions over the course of the recently concluded 2024/25 campaign.
He is known for his versatility as he can play either at centre-half, full-back or holding midfield; Dante was utilized as a substitute for the first team on eight (8) occasions last term, which includes, twice in the Premier League and four times on the Club’s campaign to UEFA Europa League victory.
