Bundesliga 2024/25: Hoffenheim 0-4 Bayern Munich – ‘There’s no better feeling’ – Müller

Thomas Müller who fielded last for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim on Saturday 17 May 2025, has reacted to the beautiful outcome of the clash which was in favour of his side.

The German midfielder who agreed with the club not to extend his contract said, “there’s no better feeling” as Vincent Kompany steered the Bavarians to a beautiful clean sheet at PreZero Arena.

Bayern Munich defeated Hoffenheim 4-0 to round off their amazing campaign.

According to fcbayern.com, here are reactions to the game from Bayern Munich camp:

Vincent Kompany (Manager): “I also told the guys: For me, it doesn’t matter how much you’ve won in your career – you should always be happy as if it were your first title. We’ll celebrate and be as happy as if it was our first – and then we’ll move on. I hope we win another ‘first’ title next season.”

Thomas Müller (Midfielder): “We were constantly on the prowl, and I also wanted to send out the signal that we wanted to score more goals. It almost worked with the 100th goal of the season, but in the end we’re not playing for the sake of breaking records, even if you naturally want to get a taste of them when you’re so close. What happened in front of the fans after the game shows that the mutual appreciation is enormous. I’m more of a fan of positive emotions. Today was a successful finish. The appreciation towards me is huge, and there’s no better feeling than that.”

Harry Kane (Forward): “I’m always trying to improve, but it wouldn’t have been possible without my teammates. I’m having a great time. Tomorrow at Marienplatz will certainly be fun. It’s the first time for me to celebrate a title with the fans in our city. I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully it will be a nice, sunny day – then we’ll have a good time together. It’s been a good season for many reasons. Now we’ll enjoy it and recover well for the Club World Cup.”
