Newcastle United midfielder, Bruno Guimarães, has hailed his teammate, Alexander Isak, after the Swedish forward clinched the Player Of The Match award following his beautiful performance for the Magpies on Wednesday night.

The Brazilian said, “You deserve it for the player and person you are, Isak”.
Newcastle United made light work of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League match at St. James’ Park on Wednesday 15 January, 2025, winning comfortably by three (3) goals to zero (0).
Isak netted a brace for Eddie Howe’s side in the 34th and 57th minutes, and Anthony Gordon scored the third in the 74th minute, to hand the hosts all three points.
Guimarães wrote: “Great victory at home! Very happy with the team’s performance. You deserve it for the player and person you are, Isak. We keep pushing for more. See you on Saturday, Geordies”.
