Jimmy Carter Passes At 100: President Biden narrates his meeting with ‘dear friend’ more than 60 years ago

US President, Joe Biden, said, he alongside his wife had the honour of meeting and “calling Jimmy Carter a dear friend” more than sixty (60) years ago.

This is coming following the passing of the former US President on Sunday.

Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States (US) passed on Sunday 29 December, 2024 “surrounded by his family”.

According to President Biden: “Over six decades, Jill and I had the honor of calling Jimmy Carter a dear friend. 

 

But, what’s extraordinary about Jimmy Carter, though, is that millions of people throughout America and the world who never met him thought of him as a dear friend as well.”
