In another significant move on Saturday September 28, 2024, leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) @OfficialAPCNg in Odigbo Local Government Area (LGA) of Ondo State led by Alhaji Yusuf Abdulateef AKA, Sheu Agba, have defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), @OfficialPDPNig declaring their massive support for the Party’s Governorship Candidate, Agboola Ajayi. @A_AgboolaAjayi
The APC members who trooped into the PDP fold, described their stay in the APC as “a wasted years” The leader of the group, Alhaji Yusuf Abdulateef, expressed their joy and relief at leaving the APC, citing the party’s misrule and visionless governance in Ondo state.
Agboola Ajayi, the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, welcomed the defectors, promising an all inclusive government where no one would be left out if elected as the next Governor of the State on November 16, 2024.
This mass defection is another significant boost to Agboola Ajayi’s candidacy ahead of the election in Ondo State.
