The Nigeria international inspired the Black and Reds to their first ever Bundesliga title with his opener from the penalty spot in the 25th minute against Werder Bremen on 14 April, 2024.
In the top flight encounter, Xabi Alonso’s side crushed their opponents 5-0 at BayArena to emerge the new Kings of Germany.
