According to Governor Uzodimma: “My administration has continued to promote a gender-balanced society, and the emergence of Her Excellency Lady Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaru as my Deputy is a testament to the all-inclusive system of governance we now have.
I reiterated this during the thanksgiving mass by the Deputy Governor and her family at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Umunoha in Mbaitoli LGA of our dear State. It was indeed a momentous occasion, marking not only her election but also our commitment to fostering equal opportunities for all.
Lady Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaru’s dedication to the ideals of Shared Prosperity is commendable, and I have no doubt that she will discharge her duties with excellence. With her by my side, I am confident that we will continue to deliver good governance to ndi Imo.
I expressed my heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support of ndi Imo witnessed at the thanksgiving. I urged for the same, if not greater, level of support as we continue our transformative agenda to reposition our dear State for the benefit of all its citizens.”
