FIFA Men’s Ranking: Nigeria moves 14 spots up

Despite not winning the AFCON trophy, Nigeria has climbed 14 spots up in the latest FIFA Men’s Ranking above Ivory Coast.

In the final of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON), the Super Eagles of Nigeria lost 1-2 to host nation, Ivory Coast, at Alassane Ouattara Stadium on Sunday 11 February, 2024.

While Nigeria moved 14 spots up, Ivory Coast moved 10 spots up for winning the AFCON 2023 on home soil.

Ghana, South Africa and Cameroon did not make it into the top fifty (50) countries.
