Bayern Munich under Thomas Tuchel’s guide is currently not getting the desired results both in Germany and Europe.

Just some hours ago, the German club lost to Italian Serie A club, Lazio, in the round of 16 first leg of the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 at Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italy.

On Saturday, Tuchel’s Bavarians were humiliated by Bundesliga 2023/24 toppers, Bayer Leverkusen, by three goals to nil.

Currently, Bayern Munich are five (5) points trailing Bayer Leverkusen; also the reigning Bundesliga Champions have been thrown out of the DFB Cup.

Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga eleven (11) times back-to-back, and are in grave danger of losing that to Bayer Leverkusen who are sitting tight on the top spot of the table, as the Black and Reds are yet to lose a top flight encounter this campaign.

Pressure continues to mount on Tuchel following Bayern Munich recent poor form.

Harry Kane bared his mind to TNT Sports after the UCL clash at Lazio: “A really tough week.

“In the first half we started well and had clear chances, one for myself. In these games they’re big moments. The second half was disappointing. We came out with less energy and less confidence. We got punished.

“We’re in a difficult spell. We have to fight. We have to turn it round.”

Bayern Munich, so far this season:

• Five (5) points behind Bundesliga toppers, Bayer Leverkusen

• Lose round of 16 first leg in UCL to Lazio

• Lost the German Super Cup

• Eliminated from DFB Cup by third-tier club, Saarbrücken
