Ravage Uprising: ‘We are indeed proud of the enigma of Rema’ – Governor Obaseki

Conversation ⬇ Executive Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has applauded Divine Ikubor, professionally known as, Rema, following his beautiful performance at his sold out O2 Arena ‘Ravage Uprising’ concert in London, England.

On Tuesday 14 November, 2023, Rema thrilled his vast fans/lovers at the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena, performing several of his smash songs, encompassing; ‘Charm’, ‘Calm Down’, ‘Soundgasm’ and many more.

Several other amazing Nigerian artists joined him on stage like Victony, alongside, his Mavin Records colleagues, like, Crayon, Ayra Starr and the others.

Governor Obaseki, being “proud” of Rema as an indigene of Edo State, said, “We are indeed proud of the enigma of @heisrema”.

After his concert, Rema expressed his gratitude to the city of London for the love and support, saying, “thank you London”.

Rema wrote: “RAVAGE UPRISING/ My Ancestors bronzes sit in the museum of this very city so I remade mine. Hence, Edo is redefined, the map reshaped, your minds awakened & the mask reborn. Thank you London!”

Governor Obaseki quoted Rema’s tweet and commented: “We are indeed proud of the enigma of @heisrema and what he has come to represent, especially his personification of the Edo heritage. We applaud his genius and celebrate him as he takes the world stage by storm.”
