Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) carted home all three points in the Ligue 1 match against Lyon at the Groupama Stadium on Sunday 3 September, 2023.

The Les Parisiens emerged winners defeating their hosts 4-1 with France forward, Kylian Mbappe netting twice early, in the 4th minute from the penalty spot and in the 45+2′.
Achraf Hakimi and Marco Asensio found the back of the net in the 20th and 38th minutes respectively, helping PSG to a four-goal lead in the first 45 minutes.
Lyon pulled one back in when French central midfielder, Corentin Tolisso hit the back of the net in the 74th minute from the penalty spot.
