The nominees are:
- Lionel Messi
- Erling Braut Haaland
- Kevin de Bruyne
Lionel Messi inspired Argentina to win the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Kevin de Bruyne alongside Erling Braut Haaland were very instrumental in Manchester City’s treble win in the 2022/23 season.
The winner will be announced at the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 group stage draw ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, France on Thursday 31 August, 2023.
