UK, Italy and Japan collaborate for new fighter jet

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), Rishi Sunak, has made know, the UK, Italy and Japan are working together to build a new fighter jet that uses artificial intelligence.

Sunak clarified, the joint venture will help create thousands of UK jobs as well as strengthen security ties.

The nations will collaborate to develop a next generation fighter that will take the place of the Typhoon Jet.

Hopefully, the new Tempest Jet will carry the latest weapons.

The UK PM disclosed the partnership would “keep the country safe from the new threats that we face” as he paid a visit to RAF Coningsby on Friday in Lincolnshire.

He said: “We’re one of the few countries in the world that has the capability to build technologically advanced fighter aircraft.”
