England midfielder, James Madison, was missing in action for the Foxes as he recovers from a knee injury which he sustained prior to the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, this contributed to Brendan Rogers’ side poor performance at home.

Newcastle United have climbed to the second spot of the League table after this win, four points behind toppers Arsenal.

• All of a sudden, Newcastle United are now a team to beat. They must be getting something right.
